There is a saying among writers: to write more, write more.
After receiving some not so great news today, all I wanted to do was write. But I allowed myself to “should” all over myself about everything I needed to do instead of writing. Now, here I am 6 hours later with very little of the stuff I “should have” done actually … done, and I still haven’t written anything.
So, I decided to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting now. I will be posting on this blog once a day for all of 2011 (granted I’m already 5 days in, but … so what).
I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Or it might suck out loud. Nevertheless, I plan to make use of The Daily Post, and the community of other bloggers with similar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.
If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.
Thanks,
J.
